Review on 📶 TP-Link TC-W7960 DOCSIS 3.0 300Mbps Wireless Cable Modem Router for Comcast XFINITY, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications, Charter Spectrum by Steve Washington

I've had this router for 2 months now and it started crashing intermittently for two weeks - now it crashes every few minutes throughout the day. The wireless signal is good BUT every time you surf or navigate YouTube fairly quickly, your devices lose internet connection even if you are still connected to your router/hotspot. It may then take 2-3 minutes to reconnect (or you have to do it manually by manually disconnecting and reconnecting). This happens CONSTANTLY on a Mac, an iPhone, and two different laptops. It also happens with a wired connection, but not as often. I tried disabling the firewall entirely, thinking it was some sort of protection - no change. Also, you cannot configure static IPs on devices and there is no way to configure the firewall (other than the default High, Medium, Low, Off settings). It is not possible to add advanced pattern matching and rule exceptions. These are few things I could live with, but the fact that the device disconnects you every time you browse the web with a lot of content or audio/video content is awful - and I only use one tab!. A star. I couldn't return it for a refund, troubleshooting didn't help. waste of money!
