They are really pretty and they look very good, but the smell destroys the atmosphere. I recommend if you buy these wash them with soap. It helped reduce the awful smell. It won't harm them either, but your water will turn super green and stain everything until it dries. I think it could be the smell coming from the repainting. I washed them twice in warm and cold water. They are now hanging on a hanger in my shower to dry. I recommend washing/drying them there. It looks like they're looking there too. They are delicate, just like real plants, so don't be rough with them. They look better after washing. The leaves will fall off. I would buy again. Updated: 03/28/19. Bohemian candle lamp image uploaded. The smell goes away. This can take a few days or a week. But I still find that they look better after washing than in life. Less plastic look. I've had them since I washed and dried them and they still look great. I will buy more for the office. Great buy if you don't mind washing and drying them.
