So after several attempts to find a birthday mask for my daughter to wear to school (you know the ones that are advertised for kids but come and are too big even for an adult face, but check specifically if they are for kids) I came across this adorable cupcake mask. I read the reviews (some not so good) and honestly didn't have high hopes but my daughter who is 11 insisted she needed a mask for her birthday so I ordered. This mask is amazing, the cotton is soft (not itchy like some) and the elastic behind the ears (my daughter's biggest complaint it's annoying) is smooth, almost silky. I have to agree with the reviews that say the mask is thin BUT this mask should be worn with a filter. It has a slot to insert one into the mask. I'm sure once we put the filter in the mask it will do the job (please note it doesn't come with a filter you have to provide it yourself), overall the quality is good and the mask is amazing! My daughter loves it and can't wait to wear it for her birthday! So for me it's a win-win situation. My only complaint would be that there is no filter to insert, but since this isn't our first rodeo lol we have extra filters at home that came with other masks we've bought before.
