The pictures in the listing do not reflect this gift set at all. That's great. Even the gift box it comes in is great. This is one of those boxes that you don't want to part with because it's one of those special boxes that your brain tells you to "hold." I could talk about the box it comes in for a few more days lol. The teapot is made of very thin and durable metal. The lid fits perfectly without having to place it directly over the brewer. I have similar mugs from other stores and this might be the best design. The mug itself feels firm in your hand and isn't fragile like some similarly sized teacups. I might buy another one to give to my tea drinker friend. The whole set (and box) is just beautiful. (Seriously, the box is amazing if you're like me and have a collection of fancy boxes.)
