Works great! Makes perfect hard boiled eggs every time. I have boiled eggs in a pot all the time and I always have 1 or 2 cracks and sometimes they are still undercooked. Not anymore with this handy gadget! Also requires very little cleaning. After use, I rinse the trays, fill them with water and set them on a grid to dry. I wipe the metal base with a damp paper towel and that's it. After the buzzer sounds I unplug and let the eggs sit for about 5 more minutes because I love hard boiled eggs. I also stab each one before cooking and have never had a single blast/explosion. The footprint is small and fits perfectly in my closet but looks lovely on the countertop too.
