Review on Combining Hollow Wall Drywall Drilling by Steve Hauck

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Super easy to use

This is a great option instead of pre-drilling holes in the drywall and installing those stupid plastic anchors that may or may not end up falling out. They need to be hammered in a bit first and you need to make sure you don't hit the stud or any metal wall inserts as that would break the tip. They are strong but somewhat fragile. I discovered this the hard way trying to insert it where the bolt appeared to be. It made a big hole but wouldn't stay and the tip broke off so I had to pre-drill a stupid hole and put a big bolt in instead. I've used them for hanging TVs and many other heavy objects and they work great. You may need washers as the screws provided have a small head and may not fit everything you are trying to mount to the wall.

Pros
  • Drywall Anchor
Cons
  • Price that breaks the piggy bank
