PureGuardian Humidifier 9.6L will not last 100 hours on one charge. The first time I used it, I filled it to the brim with purified water and set it to the lowest possible setting in cool mode. I recorded the exact time I turned it on and tracked when it stopped. Based on their claim of up to 100 hours of run time, I expected it to be around 4 days before needing to refill the tank. Unfortunately, after about 23.5 hours, the light went on and the device stopped. The second time I tried it, it took 28 hours before it shut down. The last time I tried it, the water ran out and stopped after 26 hours. Since I like to keep my humidifier running 24/7 (even when I'm not at home), I need one that lasts longer because it's too difficult to change the water every day. Two good things I would like to say about it are that it is very quiet. I had to get close to see the mist coming out to make sure it was on because it was so quiet. Also, I didn't have any mold or slime sensation when I emptied it, so the silver technology should work to prevent bacteria from growing inside the water tank.
