I think they're good for what they are but their marketing claims don't match reality. Most importantly, they are not waterproof and are not designed for outdoor use. A (hard) mounted control box just isn't waterproof, so it's almost impossible to mount it outdoors without building a box for the wired control box. I show here some photos of my first attempt at a terrace installation. It looks unprofessional overall and I don't expect it to last more than a season. I've since added an outside switch box to protect it from water. To turn on the light, I take a USB power adapter with me. The lighting effects are quite beautiful, with waves of colors going back and forth across the string of lights. This is handy for a temporary installation as you can power it with a simple USB power adapter. These are (individually) addressable LEDs with a controller, so they create some pretty nice lighting effects. For this reason I am increasing my rating. I also tried them out as wearables at the Deep Playa bike ride in New York last night and they were pretty cool for that. They could also be a good decoration for a bike. Difficult to unravel. Finally, the statement "66 feet" is strange. These are two branches about 33 feet long coming out of the 2 foot section after the controller. This is important to know when planning an installation.
