Obviously not for outdoor use! I bought this to cover a 97 s10 parked outside, a mix of sun and shade during the day. Figuring out exactly where to cut the hole for the antenna wasn't easy, but I signed up for it. I've done a not-too-bad job, and I can't imagine how else the company could have planned changes to the antenna options, so it's fine. The fit was acceptable, perfect from nose to tailgate, pretty good on the (extended) cockpit itself, although I had to fold in the side mirrors and pull a super tight fabric over them, and it was roomy for the height too. I had a ton of extra fabric in the cockpit that I just folded under me in hopes of not picking up junk. I tested it after the first rain and as expected the "bed" was full of water. So I lowered the tailgate and deflated it, no big deal, and put a tall object in the bed to create a kind of "tent" shape and not collect future rainwater. But the rest of the cockpit was wet too, so definitely not waterproof, and now there's dirt under the cover. Strange. But I was more offended and disappointed when, after the rainy season, the outer plastic layer began to peel off so severely that it crumbled into fine dust when touched. The 'fabric' seems intact so I think it's technically still a cover, but I have to remember to put on a full hazmat suit just to take the cover off because that spreads 'dust' everywhere becomes. It basically renders the lid useless as I don't have time to stop and take a full shower every time I use it. I'm definitely not interested in cramming a giant dried-out flaky mass into a storage bag. This brand was highly recommended to me, but I can't say the same.
