My husband and I are new to watercolor painting and we both love this set. Good combination of round, flat and hazelnuts, which is what we mainly use. They come with a coating that washes off easily after a minute or two of soaking. They feel good, the bristles work pretty well compared to another cheap set I bought first. I think it's going to be a while before we're good enough to need better brushes because they do everything we ask them to do. I knew they didn't when I ordered them so it wouldn't be fair to take a star off for that!
