Review on Enhance Exhaust Performance with Exhaust-Mate 35352 Exhaust Insulator by Jason Childs

Small scrap

Nice scrap. As can be seen from the online image provided by Revain, the seal is on the wrong side and facing the wrong way. This small problem is easy to fix, but it immediately shows the lack of knowledge on the part of the manufacturers. In addition, the fan blade design is weaker than the standard used in Delco and Doorman AC models. The fan blades are very flexible and my unit was out of balance! This new noise was overly annoying as it made my dash vibrate and the extra noise it made was also distracting. The only good thing I have to say about this unit is that it fits in my '98 Chevy Malibu after I fixed the rubber seal. Do yourself a favor, spend more and buy the AC version from Delco, you won't be disappointed. Delco's AC version is more durable in terms of general build quality and fan design and will not degrade your machine once installed.

Pros
  • Made of strong and durable material for long life
Cons
