Glass is used with 60D, hence many nuances.
For travel and reporting, this is just chic, but it is better to shoot in good light. The working aperture is basically f / 8 - f / 13, everything is acceptable on these parameters. Despite the fact that I bought it (I took it second hand), I can’t recommend it for buying as an amateur, after all, it is too redundant for the average user and not everyone will be able to use its full potential.

Pros

The quality of the flowers - having tried it once, I don’t want to change it for something. Sharpness is good, although not as much as everyone writes about it, admiring. Perhaps the reason is in the matrix and on the FF it will be exactly the "razor". Excellent FR range. I expected that a wide angle (28 * 1.6) would be missing, but as it turned out, 28 mm on the crop is quite working and I don’t feel much inconvenience. But at 300 this is an excellent telephoto, which allows you to get something that I had not seen before in principle. The stabilizer is very good, but not as good as everyone writes. Shooting at 300mm and 1/30 from the hands is a lottery, not working parameters, although, again, this is probably due to the crop.

Cons

I overestimated sharpness. Weight - yes, it is big. It was like a day with him and his right hand began to ache. You can’t wear it around your neck with a regular strap either - 3kg on a rope cut your neck. I bought a strap with a neoprene pad, it became much more pleasant to wear. Appearance. There are pluses and minuses here. On the one hand, "girls like it" or, as someone has already written, "a camera with such a lens replaces the press card." On the other hand, even from passing cars they begin to turn around, it will not be possible to merge with the crowd, some guards also react aggressively, suspecting you of a blogger or journalist. Before that, I replaced the belt with the Canon inscription on the camera on a gray one, sealed all the nameplates on the camera and the inscriptions on the lenses, and now this miracle completely unmasks me. Autofocus. Perhaps a feature of my lens or just a bunch with a carcass, but sometimes it cannot focus in focus mode from 2,5m. You have to switch the mode or manually unscrew the focus so that it drives through the entire range. Horse price tag, absolutely inhumane for an amateur
