Review on 🔧 Irwin Tools Cobalt Metal 3018002 by Nick Cleary

I bought these bits for a specific project. I had to drill out 2 broken bolts. I did that in about 10 minutes on a 3rd breeder with my father's 20 year old bait. Drilling out a bolt was enough to blunt the old bits. I figured a good new set of bits from a name I trusted would do at least a comparable job. nope In 35 minutes I haven't even drilled a 1/8" hole. I haven't even gone to 1/4". Remember my dad's old blunt set went from 1/8" through the bolt and up About 5 different sizes was enough to drill out the bolt in about 10 minutes These bits don't match Irwin's name They might be good for wood and plastic but I wouldn't use them for serious steel drilling.
