In general, I think that a decent whale lens. Its pros: Compactness, quiet zoom (perhaps the last advantage of my copy), built-in optical stabilizer. You can get a beautiful picture even without much experience in photography. It also allows you to achieve volume in the frame, but for this you need to catch the moment or move your legs. Cons: Small aperture even for a kit lens (I would like the maximum aperture value to be at least 2.8). Bokeh is poorly defined. For my taste, whales from the Fujifilm system will be more sympathetic.
