Bought to hold the water pump pulley to remove the fan clutch. I found it would hold up well, but due to the thickness of the ends I didn't have room for a large crescent wrench to turn the nut because it will rub against the tool and fan. And the short crescent wrench doesn't give you any leverage, especially if you have a fan cover that I couldn't remove first because it won't come out until the fan is removed. So in my case it would be better to use a long open-end wrench that is not as thick as the crescent wrench head. So this tool will work just fine, but think of a tool to use to remove the nut. I ended up using just one punch to hit the left side of the nut to loosen I didn't even need that tool to hold the pulley and it came loose. So their usage depends on the application. I used it to remove the water pump pulley but there are other ways to do this without buying one. So now I have a tool that I will probably never use. It's not the device, so 5 stars anyway.
