nominal performance is identical to the Intel Core i5 - 2550K but overclocking is much less. It would seem that 22nm technologies should emit less heat than 32nm, but the presence of a video core greatly spoils heat dissipation. as a result, with the same acceleration to 4.4 GHz - 3570k is almost 10 degrees hotter than the old 2550k. I do not recommend taking it for overclocking if you do not need a video core. I hope intel will come to their senses and release a 22mm processor without a video core.
