The hammer wasn't strong enough to get the job done, but when I finally replaced it with a heavier one it was fine. The plastic clog block also broke and I ended up throwing it away, but it worked most of the time, I just had to keep figuring out how to deal with it when the new piece broke off. The pads were invaluable, but some were difficult to get out. It was cheap and I was able to install 220 square feet of laminate with this kit and a circular saw alone, so I have no complaints. But this is only for 1 job and then it has to be thrown away.
