Review on Lectrus Tablet Android Storage Bluetooth by Brian Schultz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not your stock Android product.

First of all, I have to admit that I don't use this tablet in the usual way. I didn't need another phone, I just needed a bigger screen for some of my WiFi apps like graphics apps, so I'm using it without a SIM card. Maybe it's important. The problems started when I tried to set the local time. Even after setting the location to the East Coast (USA), I was able to get this tablet to display the correct time. It kept going back to the Shanghai time zone. I've tried about 10 times to install it properly but to no avail. I finally found a setting deep inside the system that forced it to switch to Chinese. The "Manual" is a PDF file written in very poor English, totally useless. own. It's hard to just pick from a list, let alone do any sort of art or detailed touchscreen work. Even simply grouping icons was frustrating; Placing one icon on top of another to group them together will end up chasing the icon all over the screen. The default apps you expect are not what you get. A terrible music app that couldn't "find" my music on the SD card, a photos app that couldn't organize photos, and so on. I had to replace all native applications with one from the Google Play Store. The SD card slot was very sloppy and the tablet took a while to read the card. I'm starting to suspect it might be some sort of mock Android - it doesn't seem to fit many parameters. I use it as a reader and to store music and that's fine. I really wish I played for a big brand more.
