When I bought it, everything seemed perfect. My son only learns numbers, letters etc. But when it arrived I noticed how small the notepad was. Disappointed with it. We turned it on and started playing with it. Then I saw how dark the screen was. Played with a limited settings menu and it did nothing. So I figured the batteries needed changing. I changed the batteries and that didn't help. The screen is nowhere near as bright as Revain's images. So unless you're in a very bright room and you're bending over a toy, you can see what's being written. And the pencil is so bulky that my son can't see what he's writing when he's using it. Every time we turn on this toy it's hysterical and hysterical because of all of the above. And if he mixes up the letter/number or his finger accidentally touches the screen during. he has to start all over again. Will return.
