Review on Moen 3839BN Tub Spout: Sleek and Sophisticated Brushed Nickel Finish by Bobby Frazier

I needed a longer spout and the Danco brand fittings are just gross to put on. I took this out of the box, cleaned my worn pipe with white vinegar, used 120 grit sandpaper to remove any burrs or corrosion and put it on. No leaks the first time. I will say that if the pipe has some mobility, then due to the possibility of a quick connection, you will not get a tight connection to the wall. So I'm going to put a silicone bead around the base to keep it in place and snug. Overall, I really like the simplicity and quality of this faucet!
