I ordered the wrong item. I wanted to order a remote meter that does the same thing without being connected to a charge controller. I didn't realize my mistake until I received this product. I was going to return it but thought it might not be much different from the removed version and I have the option to install it on the controller at any time in the future. I use it remotely and it works great except the buttons get stuck from time to time. There may be more operational discrepancies than I realize, but this works for me.
