The needles came in their own screw cap plastic case. There are three different sizes. several of each size. I love these features! Being able to see what's inside and a top that stays secure. I was looking for large eyed needles for my embroidery. This is a thinner material than the cross stitch I've done in the past. When I saw the keywords "BIG EYE, EDELSTAHL, SEWING" in combination with the unbelievable price, I just spontaneously ordered this set. I said I'm working on a fine embroidery. The diameter of these needles is too large to be blunt. I was just trying to get a longer needle. I thought it would be easier for my hands to hold and use. I didn't even consider that the needles can have a big difference in diameter. Looking further at the ad, I understand that these needles can be used for various craft projects that I hadn't even thought of before. They don't match the projects I'm working on at all. But at this price I know that one day I will definitely need a giant needle with a big eye.
