Don't throw away your watch, simply install a new movement!
We had a huge clock in our living room that stopped telling the time. My wife was upset because she thought we would have to replace it and I was upset because I thought I would have to spend $150 for a new watch. ! I replaced this movement in about 10 minutes, the watch runs great and is much quieter than the original movement and well worth the money!
