Excellent brakes in this price range

Excellent brakes so far. Put them on my 2013 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited with matching Perforated/Slotted Power Stop rotors. These pads (and rotors) offer a much smoother stop than standard ceramic. Very quiet running and hardly any brake dust. I'm in an Outback station wagon now, not some hot STI hatch or anything, so I can only vouch for my everyday driving style. These brakes stop the car under normal conditions with no noticeable increase in performance, so I can't say if they stop better/earlier than the stock pads. But they're only a few dollars more expensive than standard pads and definitely cleaner and quieter. I like that it comes with a new set of fasteners. They do not need to be replaced with every brake change and most brakes do not come with new seals/mounts/etc. delivered, so it was nice that they did. The kit also included new wellies, which most DIYers never change until they break! Plus a bag of lube! The whole kit seems like a very good deal compared to visiting your local parts store and buying whatever is in stock. an educated guess that they work better than OEM but not as well as pricier brands.I used EBC products in my earlier, sportier days) Easy install, reasonable DIY price and smooth/clean braking. Better go to the store to get the brake work done for about $275 for an axle with crappy pads and a remanufactured rotor!
