NADAMOO Wireless Barcode Scanner does what it promises, plug it in and get a USB HID device that acts as a keyboard for input, so dial in Input box or file to collect scans is all that is needed. The barcode scanner works well from afar, I only checked the side of the house about 10m (30ft) but there was no line of sight and there were partitions but the scan was complete. An important note: the barcode scanner requires a wake scan to ensure that it is awake and ready to start scanning. So if the scanner is idle, it will need this before scanning. The barcode scanner documentation includes scanning the code to set up the barcode scanner, which is a bonus if specific options are required or specific settings are required. The bottom of the scanner has holes for hanging the device, but the cable can only be fed through one side from the top. I love this barcode scanner and bought another one as I need two in different places for different purposes. For my needs there is no need to store scanned barcodes for later operations, so this device performs well and the price is very good for a 1D and 2D wireless capable reader that also does screen scanning.
