Blu-ray player software is not included with this device. And it's not built into Windows 10 (I'm not sure about Windows 7). Verbatim support is offered by VLC Media Player but requires the AACS decoding library. I'm still working on it, but there were at least two different methods of installing the library, neither of which worked. I called Verbatim Support. Their tech support, which was very difficult to understand, claimed the product was plug and play. Of course, if you want to use it as a commercial Blu-ray Disc player, you'll have to buy the software, which I note costs half the price of the device.
