but something worked.

The brushes softened and took on the shape and direction of the surface, no longer working for my purposes. While this is intended for metal and the like, the Q&A suggested this would work for rock with debris from pool water. I removed a little but no more than 50%. I put it on a 4" hand sander. It looks great and none of the brushes have come loose. I would give 2 stars for my results in the application but 3 I think is fairer.
