You could very easily forget it and end up in a .

I've been looking for a meat tenderizer that is dishwasher safe and reasonably durable. This is one of them. Pros: Dishwasher safe. Higher quality metals (the description says "stainless steel" although it says "aluminum" elsewhere). The dual-use head softens well. As I work with meat a lot, I find it handy to be able to just throw it in the dishwasher. What if it can't be washed in the dishwasher? You might as well forget it, throw it in the dishwasher and ruin it - luckily it's dishwasher safe.
