I give this spiralizer 3.5 stars. I appreciate that everything is steel so the plastic doesn't wear out or break, but steel gets dirty easily. After washing I let it air dry and it looks discolored. Like I never washed it. I think I'll try putting it in the dishwasher and see how it goes. The plastic handle slides back to fit the box, so it has to be unscrewed and rotated. Unfortunately, it doesn't stay in place. You can only tighten it like this and then it will pop off and dangle again. i hate it the most It's difficult to clean because food gets stuck in the blade and I have to be careful when cleaning it, otherwise I risk cutting myself as it's sharp. I used a brush to get the food debris out, but it's a tight space. Changing blades is not an easy task. You just have to get it so that the lever clicks into place. I always have to refer to the blade removal and replacement instructions, so don't throw away the accompanying paperwork. Would I buy this again? Probably not, but for the price and made of steel. I can't complain too much. This also works like a charm.
