I carefully selected and selected a product that promised everything I wanted to replace my old Actiontec equipment. It had a long range and supported 2 receivers with HDMI output for local viewing. IR remote control. Great, isn't it? The assembly is good, the body is made of solid metal. It installed flawlessly and worked right out of the box. like, something like. Everything, and I repeat everything with movement, the picture becomes blurry and shakes. The running line of rolling stock on financial channels is almost unreadable. I tried to watch a stock car race and the grandstands just turned to mud. I've tried changing cables, I've tried changing wifi channels, I've tried adjusting RGB colors. I moved units. I reloaded them. Nothing helped. This thing has serious video processing encoding/decoding issues in my opinion. Even with modest moving images, it trembles noticeably. My old Actiontec looks MUCH better. This unit has range as I tested because I was planning on running a second receiver in the annex, but it shook on the bedroom TV about 25 feet away, so I definitely wouldn't invest another $100 in a second receiver. .Maybe I got a bad one, but somehow I doubt it. It worked very well except for the shaking. I did what I rarely do, which is boxed it up and sent it back for a refund. I'll shiver down the road looking for something else once my eyes adjust. The blue LEDs on these devices were so bright that traffic police boys and girls would have approved of them.
