Review on 🔀 D-Link KVM-121: Efficient 2-Port Kb/Video/MSE Audio KVM Switch by Marcus Braunstein

My setup: Windows 7 laptop and Windows XP desktop This KVM-121 switch did not work with my Windows XP system. The mouse, keyboard, and speakers were not recognized even though they worked prior to this setting. This KVM switch worked, but no sound, with Windows 7 with a PS2 USB adapter (for mouse and keyboard) and a monitor. manufacturer, tech. couldn't solve the problem and got an error code from them so I'm requesting a refund from circuit city. Circuit City returned my money quickly. So you can be treated if you can prove that it was defective by first contacting the manufacturer to try to solve any problems. Also, I didn't like the way the switches were wired. This turned the line into a mess under the table. I wish the ports were on one side and then the back and had the button and indicator on the front. At least that way you can install on the side (inside) of the table.
