Much better than OEM, well made and works great. The stop bar clamps are slightly different than the GM clamps, but I would say they are better quality. The bezel fits well and matches the original plastic very well. It's also good that it's included in this kit as the retaining tabs will break even with care. Aside from double-sided tape, you'll need a new one. One more note: I used this kit on a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1/2. Also check the tailgate cables! GM recalled these trucks years ago because of defective tailgate cables. If you sit/stand on the tailgate and the cable breaks, it can be dangerous.
