Review on Advanced Thermal Protection: Aluminized Sleeving, 3/4'' I.D. x 3ft, for Optimum Heat Sheath Performance by Fred Novak

I needed thermal protection for a pair of 16 AWG GXL wire. . I mean yes the wiring is a good 6 inches apart but why risk it as melted wires will cause a short that could start a fire? This bushing slipped through the harness with some maneuvering since I ordered a 1/2" thermal sleeve and the loom was 1/4", but that was my downfall. Finally, it does exactly what I wanted and protects the wiring from extreme temperatures in the engine compartment. Now I haven't taken the car for a nice long shakeout but I will, and if there are any issues I will update this review.
