Review on πŸ… Efficient Canning Funnel: Prepworks by Progressive for Regular and Wide Mouth Jars by Ruben Weaver

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Useful kitchen tool

A good funnel is always useful in the kitchen. This particular funnel has its advantages. It provides a sturdy funnel at the top of the can. The mark on the side helps determine the level of food or liquid in the can. Level markings are clearly printed. However, it was not so easy for me to see the liquid level in the tin can. I guess I see this aspect of this funnel more as a publicity stunt than an actual canning tool. The funnel itself, like any funnel, adequately fulfills its function. It's definitely easy to clean. I found it dishwasher safe. However, you must install it vertically in the dishwasher to avoid water pooling in the process. I would only put it on the top shelf as it's plastic. The funnel design provides a safe place on the mason jar. The funnel doesn't move during use, which is good. The construction seems good. I have no real complaints about this funnel. If I had to do it all over again I would buy this funnel, probably not. Personally, I prefer wide-opening stainless steel funnels. However, if you think this funnel is for you, I have no hesitation in recommending it.
