Cannot keep them online - daily restart required

I have had 2 of these products for about 9 months now. When they work, they work great. The problem is that they usually don't work for more than a few hours. The devices will work fine for hours (and in rare cases, days) and then one or both will fail. They require a reboot to start working again and can be up and running again in minutes or hours. We returned the device to Cisco as this is apparently a known issue and received two new devices. new ones and face the same problems again. In some cases the device will simply reboot (drops everyone and everything connected to it), and in other cases it will simply freeze (the error logs sometimes complain about "beacon hanging") and require a reboot. There are several forums on the web complaining about the same issues, we tried all the suggestions they threw out but nothing fixed these devices. If you don't mind bouncing off your hotspot almost every day, stay away from this thing.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
