Beautiful knife - care instructions Problem

This knife is very beautiful. It is light and perfectly balanced in the hand. The wooden handle perfectly complements the visible structure of the Damascus steel blade. There is some confusion in the care instructions that come with this knife. The XINZUO team kindly explained that their intention is to make people understand that the blade needs to be sharpened frequently to keep sharpness, but should never be subjected to rough sharpening that can destroy the layers of steel. I think most chefs would do well to consult a true knife sharpening expert before "working" with this extremely thin blade. I love this beautiful damask knife so much that I've started to get serious about knife sharpening, which will eventually pay off. all my kitchen and garden tools. Over time I plan to replace most or all of my kitchen knives with knives from the XINZUO Damascus steel series. This knife is that good.
