I bought this whole set of damaged screwdrivers to fix a Japanese car with metric screws and I would rather get a bolt extractor set with metric dimensions only. However, these screw extractors had good reviews and although they fit both metric and SAE screws, I decided to purchase this set when I really only needed a 10mm screw extractor at the time. I found that the 10mm bolt extractor was not tight enough on the bolt to be removed and was therefore useless when attempting to remove that bolt. I think this is because the 10mm stud extractor, like most of the other extractors in this set, is designed for both metric and SAE or fractional sizes. For the 10mm extractor, this meant that the extractor was too loose to pull out the 10mm bolt as it was insufficient at the bolt head. Tightening the 10mm extractor with a torque wrench simply rotated the bolt extractor without rotating the 10mm bolt. I suspect this issue is specific to some of the other extractor sizes in this kit. even I have the option to use a smaller 9mm extractor for my 10mm bolt head as there is no 9mm extractor in this set. However, the steel used in these extractors appears to be of very good quality, as does the thickness. will.
