I think it has been repainted. Grab/Release Lever .
I believe it has been repainted. The grip/release lever did not move back and forth. I had to pry it out a bit with a screwdriver to loosen it from the drum to put it on the drum, then I had to push it back with pliers just enough to catch the groove in the drum. What I removed was the original factory wiper arm that had been there for 17 years and I was able to open and remove that release with my hands.
