I have three reversible nylon or polyester straps that are slightly different in color on each side. I use them for travel because I'm trying to save on luggage. This belt balances things out a bit. I love the look of the leather and the convenience of going from black to gray or brown. It's as easy as twisting a buckle. I've had this feature on regular pass-through straps, but this is the first ratchet strap I've seen with it. The material is typical "leather" with no odor. These belts have virtually no odor, which is a real plus. The only drawback is the packaging. They come in plain plastic bags. On the one hand, it's good for the environment, and we all love trees (except for that evil pine tree that spits sap all over my car), on the other hand, it's nice to give a gift that turns up in a box immediately thrown away. Okay, maybe a bag is a good thing. But even though it's plastic, it's evil.
