After wearing this belt for a while I feel I can give a fair review. The belt was very easy to cut to fit my waist and then reattach the buckle. My job requires me to move a lot, bend down and pick things up. The strap always comes loose a few times during my shift and I have to constantly tighten it, which is quite annoying. It never opens but keeps coming off on me which is uncomfortable. If not for that, this belt would be perfect.

Well, I almost gave this belt a star initially. Even with the instructions, I couldn't open the clip at first to remove the strap to cut it to size. I have used three other ratchet straps and have never had a problem with the clip opening. To do this, you will need to twist the reversible buckle sideways to access the clip to open it. The straps are great. You don't have to deal with one hole being too tight and the other too loose. The fit is always perfect. But all have a ratchet system that runs down the middle of the strap. So I was very curious how to make a reversible harness when the ratchet system is visible. I have several ratchet straps and really enjoy wearing them, and while I was a little confused at first how to work with this one, it really is one of my favorites now. I'm confused about how to undo the buckle to reveal the skin. There is a small hole on the side of the strap, I thought you should use a tool to open it, and unfortunately the instructions don't say anything about how to do it. Super disappointed. The brown belt I received did not match the color of the picture. I have a dark brown belt. I needed it immediately so I couldn't return it...I had to. I like the ability to customize, but it's frustrating that the color was wrong.

The "brown" belt differs greatly from the picture. The picture looks much closer to a tan, but the actual product is more of a chocolate brown. Not at all what I expected. . . and not very happy.

I was hoping it would be a good alternative to more expensive similar belts. The leather looked great and the buckle was well made. I checked the strength of the locking mechanism and the belt pulled out easily.

Everything about the belt feels cheap. The material used feels like cardboard and I haven't used it once and it shows usage creases and has an odd belt curvature. Too bad, great idea, just bad materials.

These belts are the best. My husband loves her. There are other brands but this particular product was pretty good and affordable! Highly recommended!

Let's take a closer look, BUT when I cut open the belt to try it on, it was clear that it wasn't a leather belt. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

It doesn't appear to be real leather, but the material has stretch and looks nice. Easy to cut and sort (remember kids you can always cut more but you can't carry more). The ratchet works well (so nice that it can be adjusted in small increments and the number of clicks tells me how well I'm doing with my diet) and the material is flexible so it doesn't tear or wrinkle.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but when you see this belt live, only one thing comes to mind: disappointment. I'm personally embarrassed at how I bragged about it before it arrived and now I don't want anyone to know that I was tricked into spending $$$$ on this cheap looking Chinese belt. This is the first time I have ordered a ratchet strap so my husband has worn it for the first time. Once he got over the initial "I don't know, it's different," he decided he really liked it. It's great if it looks like your regular between-size belts. I'm a little small for what I like, but I didn't pay attention to that when I bought it.

When I tried to adjust the length of the strap as instructed, I couldn't get the latch to release the strap. As a result the latch has separated from the buckle and I just can't put it back together and the blet is just a leather strap. Lost money, very disappointing.

They sold this type of belt and said it would fit a large width, but there are definitely some sizing issues. If you're lucky and it fits, maybe you can use it. You have to cut the length yourself, which is not explained.

Aside from being a great racquet strap at a great price, the open design makes the buckle a bit lighter, which I like. Also when I had a belt issue caused by what I was doing the company fixed it without question. Respect for a great little company.
