This is a fantastic grinder for up to a year of use. Then a part of the machine wears out and all precise grinding functions become useless. Breville does not sell replacement parts to solve this problem and if you google the 820, 800 or 600 series hundreds of people will report that this problem exists for all models of this grinder. If you're looking to spend $200 a year on a grinder, this is the option for you. We bought these several times as gifts for family before we found out about the problem, soon they will stop working too.
