After reading an article about what color of light attracts bugs, I found that yellow and amber light attracted the fewest bugs. I have an LED light with motion detection behind my back door. When I let my dog loose at night the bright white light attracted all manner of insects within a 1/2 mile. My LED lights are 3 inches in diameter. These reflectors are 3 inches. The foam backing peels off easily. See photo. I taped the "lens" in place for a test run a few months ago. They are still attached and do an excellent job of greatly reducing the amount of insects coming into my light at night. When the insect season is over I will remove the masking tape and the "lens". They let soft amber light onto the patio and backyard. You work like a champ!
