These collars are exactly the same as the cheap collars you can find in the pet department at Walmart. They're simple and cute, the clasps stay but the bell stays. But the flower frays easily (I had the same pink one from Walmart) and your cat's natural scratching will eventually tear the thread out. You can always cut off the excess if it bothers you. But I had mine less than a week before my girl hooked all hers. Do yourself a favor, go to Walmart and save a few bucks!
