The kit was a perfect fit and I completed it successfully. I made changes to the fabrics, painted the typical orange wood elements red, and adjusted the patterns and decor. I was disappointed that the bedside tables were paper with wooden tops, normally they are all made of wood. The music box was missing but I didn't care and I had to complete it for a gift so I didn't ask for it. The wires on the LEDs were only about 6 inches long and many had to be extended (wire was included). However, longer wires are often attached to the lanterns, which simplifies assembly and connection. I was very concerned that there was no toilet in the bathroom. I actually tried to order a 1:24 scale toilet set but it wasn't to scale. I didn't care about the size of the bathroom fixture - it seemed too big. All in all it looks good now that it's finished and would make a nice gift.
