I had this installed on the hotel door. While in the shower someone kept knocking on the room door, I didn’t answer. After I was out of the shower and partially dressed someone knocked on the door, unlocked it and then threw their body weight against the door. This device delayed them but did not stop them. Thankfully it was only the hotel staff thinking the door was broken.
