This converter is a great travel video converter for Nintendo Switch. The image is just as sharp as the original Switch dock, but stays a little cooler since the Switch isn't closed. It is very important that a power supply that can power the switch is used with this converter. It does not work when using a regular cell phone charger - it takes more power to power the converter and switch at the same time. Buying a mobile power adapter for the Switch makes it a great travel kit. I have a lovely little zippered case for my Switch that has room for the Switch with Joy-Cons attached, up to 10 game cartridges, and a large lid that I use to store my travel charger, headphones, and wrist straps for the Joy. -Cons, and this is an HDMI converter. Very compact and easy to carry! I'm very glad I found this switch to HDMI converter! It's supposed to work with other devices that have a USB-C port for video/audio export, but since I don't have any other such devices, I can't test how well it works with them.
