Review on PRESIDENT ELECTRONICS MONTANA MAGNETIC ANTENNA by Ahmed Rowe

Great antenna After adding your own pin mine came without the stainless steel pin. I used a stainless steel bolt from an old antenna because I had to travel and wanted the President McKinley and President Montana combination antenna to work. At first I thought the whip was lost, but there was clearly no room in the packaging for the whip, base and loaded part. After thoroughly trimming the old whip, I was able to get the SWR down to 1:1 thanks to the McKinley's excellent SWR feature. With this combo I can go much further when transmitting than with my old antenna/radio combo. SSB and weather stations are clear at a good distance. Five stars for performance. Three stars for the description and the lack of a stainless steel whip.
