Good product and so far no problem with any type of barcode
Bought to capture many equipment boxes, the scanner made it easier to capture details, used Excel to record, and after writing the barcode, the scanner presses the enter key, so Excel falls out in one line, works in Word and other applications . The clocks and records are accurate. Plug and play, all you need is an open spreadsheet or word processor document and it fills the spreadsheet with scanned barcode numbers. I use it for tutorial demos and it's really effective. If you want it to check stocks etc, you're probably better off paying a little more for the wireless version, or you'll end up lugging around a tablet or laptop.
