I bought these to use in our cars that don't have CarPlay or Navigation. I just drove 1200 miles and used this car phone holder the whole time. It keeps the phone (6s) and cord secure. My son uses it for his Google Plus and has had no problems. I was about to upgrade my truck's radio to a Nav/CarPlay screen, but found the viewing angle distracted me from the road. The solution is to use this holder and upgrade to a cheaper radio as this holder puts the phone screen in my view while driving! Excellent grip on the dashboard. Our first ones were in cars in Tennessee for about a year. I would recommend them to anyone looking for something to hold the phone securely to the dash. **Update - now I have 5 of these!
