Review on Tambour Stainless Embroidery Crochet Needles by Karla Richter

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The needles are not properly polished and not as sharp as they should be.

The handles are fine. I really liked the little red aluminum handle. The wooden ones are very similar to other pens I own, no surprises. But none of the needles are polished or as sharp as other needles I have. You're trying too hard to pierce the fabric and the thread doesn't slide smoothly through the hook when you twist and pull it up and snags on the raw metal. You can easily see the hook part below in my image has a rough texture. in contrast to the smoothly polished surface of a good needle above. I checked all nine needles that came with the kit and they all tried the same rough finish and different needles from each set to make sure it wasn't an accident. No, they are all bad. So the pens are ok but the needles are not of very good quality. If you're a beginner and not good at it, you'll think you can't do this craft, when in fact the needles are the real problem. Pros
  • Multipurpose --- The hook is easy to use, suitable for sewing, embroidery, beading or crafts. A good helper for home knitting, suitable for most crochet and embroidery projects.
Cons
  • Dear

Needles are not polished properly and not as pointy as they should be.
